If you’ve already dived at Cenote Dos Ojos and want to experience the legendary Cenote El Pit, consider this nearby option: Cenote Nicte Ha, located within Dos Ojos Park.
It offers a shallow dive with a maximum depth of 6 meters (18 feet), featuring stunning columns and, surprisingly, a gentle drifting current. Nicte Ha, which means «Flower of Water» in Mayan, reveals beautiful water lilies visible from the open water cenote area. It’s definitely a gem you won’t want to miss.d fresh water, creating a blurry and psychedelic effect. Combined with hydrogen sulfide, resembling fog-like clouds, these elements form an otherworldly and mystical ambience.
