Cenote Orquidea is one of the newest caverns open to scuba divers. If you love eerie cenotes like Angelita, this dive is definitely for you.

You’ll encounter a green slope with fallen trees and an intense hydrogen sulfide cloud at 20 meters (66 feet) that creates a dramatic effect with darkness and light distortion, resulting in vivid orange colors. It’s just stunning!

As you ascend to shallower depths, you’ll see impressive rock formations and stalactites.

We do one dive in this cenote and combined the cenote day with another dive in Cenote Chacmool, Cenote Chikin Ha, or Cenote TajMaHa.
