Both cenotes feature a phenomenon called a ‘halocline’ – a mesmerizing blend of salty and fresh water, creating a blurry and psychedelic effect. Combined with hydrogen sulfide, resembling fog-like clouds, these elements form an otherworldly and mystical ambience.
